Blackboard (which I'll often abbreviate as Bb) is an online teaching and learning application that you'll probably encounter in several courses during your time at BSU. It offers several interesting communication and discussion features that we may take advantage of during the semester. It also includes a place where I can put copies of important course documents: assignment sheets, the syllabus, the schedule, and so on. So, at the least, it's a nice central place where you can go find documents you need.
Bb's URL is http://my.bsu.edu. This Web address will take you to a login page, which will accept the same user name and password that you use for your BSU email account. When you log into Bb, you will be taken to the @MyBSU section of your account. There you should see a box labled "My Courses," and in that box you should see a link to your 103 course. Clicking the link will take you to our course anouncements page.
In the column on the left, click "Assignments/Handouts." That'll take you to a page where you can choose to take our "First Week Survey." Email me (abjohnson@bsu.edu) if it gives you any trouble.
